Coast West Pizza & Steakhouse is a family restaurant and lounge at 18035 Stony Plain Road, inside the Coast West Edmonton Hotel. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner every day — house-made-dough pizza, AAA Alberta Beef steaks, baby back ribs, pasta and homestyle comfort plates — for neighbours across Terra Losa, La Perle, Belmead and Place LaRue, and for travellers staying right upstairs.
Coast West Pizza & Steakhouse opened its doors as the restaurant and lounge of the Coast West Edmonton Hotel, and it quickly became a neighbourhood spot in its own right. The Breakfast Special is on the grill from early morning — served daily until 11:00 AM with coffee or tea included — and the kitchen keeps going right through lunch and dinner, so there is always a hot plate waiting on the west side of Edmonton.
Our pizzas start with dough made in house, a zesty house special tomato sauce and real mozzarella, in three sizes across favourites like the House Special, Meat Lovers, Donair Pizza and Veggie Lovers. On the steakhouse side we cook AAA Alberta Beef to preference — 8 oz Top Sirloin, 8 oz NY Strip Loin and the New York Steak & Shrimp — alongside a house-marinated full rack of baby back ribs and baked pastas built on house-made sauces.
Big appetites and big groups are both welcome. With meeting rooms, banquet space and catering available through the hotel, we look after business lunches, team gatherings, family celebrations and tour groups. Prefer to eat at home? One menu covers the whole day — three-egg omelettes and pancakes in the morning, wings, burgers and hot beef sandwiches at lunch, then pizza, ribs and Alberta steaks for dinner.

A convenient place to eat several times during my stay. The meals were reliably good and the service friendly — an easy go-to for dinner after a long work day.
It worked really well for a mixed group — the kids enjoyed the pizza and the adults went for the steak and ribs. Relaxed, family-friendly and reasonable for the portion sizes.
Ordered takeout for lunch — the portions and the value stood out. It ran about $30–40 for one, but there was plenty left over and the quality justified the price.
Having the restaurant on site was a big plus. Breakfast was fast and filling, and a late dinner after check-in was easy because the full menu was still available.
